The Red Fort
Probably one of the most iconic monuments of Delhi, the Red Fort is the monument that still stands today, a remembrance of the Mughal Empire that ruled over India for many years. The walls of the Red Fort extend up to two kilometers and it was used to prevent invaders from entering and invading the interior. When the Sikhs and latter, the British came into the scene, the Fort stopped being a fort a marvelous landmark of the ancient times, it is a great way to start your journey.

Jama Masjid
Considered an important structure, this is the largest Mosque created in India. This is the treasure of the old city more than 20,000 devotees can fit in the courtyard quite comfortably. The Mosque was finished in 1650m after an arduous 13 years of build. Head to the southern tower and brave the winding steps. You will enjoy the incredible panoramic view of Delhi. Of course, since it is an active Mosque, you should take note to wear appropriate clothing.

The Tomb of Humayun
Yes, the tomb was inspired BY theBY theby Agra’s iconic Taj Mahal. It was created in 1570. It houses the body of the second emperor of the Mughals, Humayun. It was the first of this kind of structure to be created in India and after this; extensive structures across India were built. It has some really nice gardens that you will surely love.

Qutab Minar
This is considered as the highest brick minaret in the world. It is the best representation of Indo-Islamic architecture. It was created in 1206! The reason for creating the structure is still shrouded in mystery. It might be a symbolic triumph of Islam in India but others think it is a way to call the faithful to pray. Visit the tower floor by floor and enjoy the wall carvings and some historic monuments around the site. You will definitely love the site at the top and this is a great way to have break before exploring the other nice areas in Delhi.

That being said, it is very ideal that you plan ahead and visiting Disney World in Orlando. This massive area is even larger than Manhattan Island and consists of 4 major theme parks. You also have numerous attractions to visit. If you plan ahead, you can cover a lot of area in a few days of travel across this massive global destination. What should you do on each of the 4 theme parks? What things are you going to do on either of the 2 water parks? Are you planning on doing some sightseeing and people watching? Do you have kids to take along? Understanding these aspects will make you a lot better in handling the whole trip so that you can really enjoy the experience.

When walking along the theme parks, it is better to have a backpack or anything that does not require constantly holding on your hands. It is ideal that you plan your visits with the hotel as you way point, it will be a lot easier to travel if you know where to start and where you should end up.

Get a Fast pass
This is a free tool that you can use to save those precious minutes, even hours, waiting in line. If you have this, you just insert your pass on designated location. That way you got yourself a record that it will be your time to take the ride. Therefore, you have more time to walk around and less time is wasted.

Whatever happens in Vegas stays in Vegas. The quotable quote has sealed the image of Las Vegas as the Sin City, a place of decadence, glamour, casinos, money and weddings. It is a blinding ball of light at first glance and for a novice, traveling across this city can be overwhelming and of course, expensive. When going to Vegas for the first time, there are 3 very important categories that you should not forget to include in your itinerary. First, parties, next, food and lastly, entertainment. These are your major categories to focus on when planning a well rounded trip to Las Vegas.

<img src="http://www.gocielo.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/11/The-Las-Vegas-City-300x203.jpg" alt="" title="The Las Vegas City" width="300" height="203" class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-398 "rel="lightbox" />

On your first day or two in Las Vegas,you will forget the meaning of the word sleep. You will not have any time to rest your red eyes and jet lagged body. You will try to keep up with the seemingly unending energy of party goers and try to measure the limitations of your body when it comes to beers and cocktails. Notable hotels to visit for parties would have to be Luxor. There are numerous clubs like LAX at Luxor,Pure located at the Caesar’s Palace, or the Blush at the Wynn. You can take a little bit of a slow start in bars like MGM’s Centrifuge.

It is not Las Vegas without a little bit of a bet here and there. For the most extravagant and comfortable casino venue, feast your eyes on Bellagio, Venetian and the MGM Grand. For those who like to play poker, get the most authentic experience at Binions where the World Poker Tournament used to be held. Caesar’s Palace is incredibly popular for poker and the place is quite fancy. Nonetheless, if you are a high roller, better go grand.

After spending some money on drinks and burning some on slots, it is time to fill up your tummy with some nice food. Whatever international cuisine you want, Las Vegas can offer. For breakfast, enjoy French; eat some oriental dishes for lunch pig out, Italian style for dinner. From dessert shops, fine dining venues to restaurants where top notch chefs in the world reside, you can discover the colors and flavors of the world in this one city.

For entertainment, sit back and enjoy the ultimate in live entertainment from the Cirque Du Soleil, Theater productions, magical performances as well as those shows that are most appealing for bachelor and bachelorettes.

Always sunny and shiny, Mexico is available for sun worshipers and culture enthusiasts no matter what the season is in your location. So what interesting activity should you try to take advantage of for your Mexico trip?

In January, to celebrate the end of the Yuletide festivities, Mexico celebrates the so called Dia De los Reyes Magos or Three Kings’ Day (Epiphany). The tradition is done during the 6th of January. This is a tradition that is very special for kids since this is the time they get some gifts. The tradition of gift giving in Mexico is normally during the Three Kings’ Day but of course, with the global tradition of gift giving during Christmas, some kids do get their own share of nice treats for both occasions.

For Mexico, being a former Spanish colony, the concept of Santa Clause might be nice but in Spain and Mexico, the real stars of Christmas are the biblical gift givers, Melchor, Gaspar and Baltasar. The story goes that upon the birth of Christ, the three men or some times, three mages traveled across long distances to send their gifts to Christ, who will be the redeemer and savior of humanity. They gave symbolic gifts to the baby Christ, Myrrh, Frankincense and gold, to symbolize, the life and triumph of Jesus.

During December, kids of all ages would begin writing their letters for all or on one of the kings. They will write things that they wish they could receive on January 6. It is probably the root of the Santa Claus tradition where kids need to behave and to be good or else, they will not receive the gifts that they want on Dia De los Reyes Magos. They will receive coal if they are bad. On the 5th of January, at night, before heading to bed, the kids will put their shoes in front of the door so that the 3 Kings, arriving using their camels can identify how many kids are in the area. If Santa has milk and cookies, the Three Kings have a variety of food options plus grass and water for the camel since, you know, they must be tired after traveling thousands of miles with a haul of gifts for millions of kids.

The lakes are open for public the entire year but it is open for longer hours every summer. There is a fee that is used to maintain the park. Across the national park and the lakes are wooden trails traversing across end to end of various water bodies. In aerial view, the lakes are crystal clear and when the glistening sun shines through, it is like being in a unique paradise that offers incredible appeal to those who like incredible beauty. You will certainly fall in love with each lake over and over again.

Hiking is the best way to travel in the Plitvice lakes National Park. Enjoy the forest, the atmosphere, the scent, the water bodies, and the whole majesty that is in front of you. It is rare to see such an incredible connection of bodies of water and how they transform the land into a lush, verdant region that is protected to ensure that the future generations can enjoy its impressive beauty and allure. You can ride a panoramic train or bus on different routes of the park. This will give you a different angle to the wonderful region. Do not forget to get your camera since there are some very photo worthy things that you might not want to forget.

Each lake, cascade, waterfall and rock has its own personality and charm. When you visit here, use comfortable walking shoes as you will be traveling quite a mileage on foot. It gives you incredible exercise and it also gives you a sublime experience of nature that you might never see anywhere else. It is a real wonder how these formations came to being and how they hold up even with the modernization all around.

Along the majestic Pyrenees of Europe, along the Iberian Peninsula is a small country named Andorra. The most popular reason why people go to this country is due to the miles and miles of snowy slopes, mountains and hills that offer incredible snow related activities to appeal to your specific needs. It is in between Spain and France and it is notable for offering the most incredible skiing venues in the world. There are numerous ski resorts in the Principality of Andorra but there are three main ski resorts very popular with locals and tourists. Here are your top choices for Ski destinations in Andorra.

Soldeu and El Tarter are very close villages with an energetic, friendly and active community. This place is extremely popular with British Ski lovers. The ambiance is very nice, pristine, laid back and generally peaceful. You will love the incredible variety of modern ski options in this area. You are transported to the different slopes using modernized gondolas going back and forth from the villages of Soldeu and El Tarter. There are great areas suitable for novices and advanced skiers. The wooded runs from the areas of El Tarter to Soldeu are perfect for travelers due to the complexity and the long runs covering Llosada.

Pas De la Casa is located at the French Border and is close to the largest ski location in the country. This is a purpose- built ski resort with a range of apartments, hotels and other forms of accommodation that are just close to the slopes, ready to give you an easy start across the areas. The cable lift system starts at Pas and then it extends to 3 separate valley areas. Grau Roig, the middle end point is a wooded region that serves as an access point for visitors. This area can also be used to set up base, the slopes are located at the north and south ridges with Pas De la Casa and Grau Roig at the west and east.

Pal Arinsal is composed of the villages of Pal and Arinsal. These villages are part of Vallnord ski region and it has been incorporated into one resort that is linked by cable car transportation. Since the villages are merged to one zone, only one pass is necessary to travel both areas.

Planning on your next ski trip? Take advantage of the numerous slopes and incredible atmosphere at Andorra.

Compared to its neighbor, Spain, it does not get the same amount of tourism exposure but still it has that incredible European flair and exotic appeal that balances it out as a unique travel venue. Its star attraction, Lisbon, offers an incredible appeal from the modern delights to lovely heritage sites that ooze of culture, history and depth. It may have that cosmopolitan appeal but it does not offer that fussiness as seen in other cities across the European continent. The colorful landscape is dotted by modern architecture, Gothic cathedrals, ambient monasteries and energetic street life; there is this incredible harmony albeit a contrast of modernity and heritage in this lovely city.

<img src="http://www.gocielo.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/10/Entering-Lisbon-300x201.jpg" alt="" title="Entering Lisbon" width="300" height="201" class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-353 "rel="lightbox" />

Lisbon is the capital of Portugal and in recent years, has experienced a renaissance with a thriving culture, invigorated economic diversity and contemporary way of living. It is now making a mark in Europe for its recent advances. Compared to most renowned European cities, Lisbon is one of the rare capitals that face the ocean. They are blessed with incredible shorelines and they are not afraid to utilize it for their touristic advantage. Of course, its architecture is also definitively unique with white limestone buildings and colorful roofs that line the lovely hills. The tiny alleyways are a joy to traverse into,and the weather is incredibly mild,which is perfect for a year round travel experience.

One of the more interesting sights to see in Lisbon is Cristo Rei, a massive statue of Jesus similar to the one in Rio de Janeiro. A towering sculpture with a height of 100 meters, it stands on the other side of the River Tejo and you can ride an elevator up to the top of the statue and it gives you an immaculate view of the city and the nearby landscapes.

There seems to be an old soul lingering in the culture and traditions of the people at Lisbon from their festivities and cultural practices but now, it is starting to take a more youthful vibe, something that has caught its own personality, giving century old traditions some form of relevance to the fashionable city that also holds their seasonal fashion week, a trend that is happening on most major European cities.

Go to the cafe and enjoy some nice espresso and partner it with some fresh pastry while looking at the lively plaza, people watching is definitely worth the time, from gossiping locals, tourists wandering about with their cameras and others just minding their business, while at the backdrop of this incredible venue. Shopping is also an incredible experience at Chiado, an elegant, fashionable district with some incredible features to amaze you.
